by being cover in he field of active combat. Fun, huh?Having lived here in Israel for 20-plus years -- (Gee, has it been that long...??) -- it became pretty clear that what the meedia feeds the public in the way of Mid-East reportage is usually a superficial gloss at what is really going on. Often, the media taints their articles with "interpretive journalism" to the point that their reportage is so highly colored it's at variance with the facts on the ground.In an effort to bring a deeper and more refined picture of the situation here I've been writing letters to family & friends. I feel privileged to be living in Judea with many contacts in this area that give me an insiders view of what's going on -- which I'm willing to share in the following articles...
