: i'll begin the tale. dale and i had been going to the same school since 2nd grade. in 7th grade i changed school districts and did not return until half-way through 9th. we still had never made each other's acquaintance until sophomore year when we landed in several of the same classes. although we quickly became friends, it wasn't until april of that year when we realized our true feelings for each other. =P and that's where it began!

: my turn. it was a freakin' pep rally on friday the 12th, and caroline was hanging around me and all that jazz. and i was like, "today's the day i gotta ask her - so i can chill out the whole week after. in case she says 'no,' i can ponder why for nine days." so she found me in the hallway and we walked to my locker and she grabbed what she had left in there (on purpose). before i headed to work, i asked her out. when she said "yes," it was one of the most fastest and shortest days of work i've ever had.
