I write this journal entry on Sunday as bun-hun is just starting her homework. Thats right, starting. I love her so. We had quite the busy weekend until now. Friday night was movie night, as we traveled to Pittsford to watch the newly released BEOWULF. It was actually quite enjoyable, thus ending our one sided, badly hyped movie tirade. Saturday was the same old at my parent's house. Smooth and uneventful, just like always. Just the way we both like it. On Sunday, we cleaned up our humble abode in anticipation of her arriving friends. It was fun watching football and watching bun as she worked with her group. It's always fun seeing her take charge and assume the lead of her foursome of presenters. Ending out the weekend with more football and maybe some late night FAMILY GUY, and some much needed canoodling, always makes the Mondays seem less looming.

i have been busy with school and dale has been busy with... well, whatever keeps him busy. we have watched a bunch of movies that i haven't included in our movies section yet, so next time i get the chance, i will do so. dale and i have been going about our days as usual, nothing new really. we're still in love, having fun, working hard, studying hard, and enjoying our life together.

9.21.07

i'm at the end of my third week in school and things are going well. even though i'm senior now, it doesn't feel like it - and most likely because i've added an extra year to my program by adding a spanish minor and the graduate classes next year. oh well. this does push our wedding back a year later, for those who were already aware of its tentative date. it'll now be in 2010, and although we were bummed about it at first, we've come to accept it knowing that we really do need the extra year to save up. it's an expensive wedding. =(

dale has really come along with the piano. he finished up fur elise and a song from his video game. he's working on another as well as a duet that we are both working on. i also finished up moonlight sonata - so that felt good.

i'd like to add a "product review" section to this page in place of our "summer plans" since summer is long past. we'll see. i'm definitely writing in this as a means to procrastinate, and if dale knew that he wouldn't be very happy with me... which means i better sign off. =D

9.17.07

I was so proud of my bun-hun for watching 3:10 to Yuma at the beginning of the month. She knew it would be boring to her, but still came with me anyway. I love her. She's a trooper. To return the favor, I accompanied her to her mother's road race on Sunday morning the following week. It was at 7:30 in the morning and it was cold. I love my bun-hun, and that's why I do crazy things for her.

9.6.07

over the long weekend, dale and i bought this. i'm teaching him how to play and he's improved ten-fold over the past few days. he's finishing up a modified version of fur elise, and has started a song from final fantasy. i'm working on a modified version of moonlight sonata. our rabbits are doing well. they love us when we feed them and don't try to pick them up. in fact, they'll crawl all over us, but the moment we reach for them - they scurry! i've started my first week of school, so dale and i are adjusting to this new schedule. i won't be watching as many movies now that school has started, but at least two a month. dale, on the other hand, will continue to watch at least four movies a week! we're still trying to find the time to watch becoming jane... but we'll see.

9.1.07

Looking forward to my "long" weekend with my bun bun. I hope we enjoy ourselves and perhaps make these three days memorable.

8.19.07

we have reached the end of our week vacation. on monday dale and i drove down to the corning museum of glass. tuesday was my birthday, which was celebrated at the cheesecake factory. we also saw stardust that night - verrry good movie. that night we even found time to play tennis. we kept wednesday a "normal" day of just relaxing, etc. on thursday we visited the seneca park zoo and the lollypop farm. friday was the strong national museum of play - i had a blast. on saturday morning we became the owners of two adopted rabbits from lollypop farm. their names are onyxia and ophelia and they are mother and daughter. this morning, we slept in then spent time with the rabbits. after dinner we watched superbad - very funny.

this coming week will be very different from this last one as we both head back to work. looking back, i think we made the most of the vacation - but most of all i'm just happy we got to spend some time together.

8.11.07

I have cleared the Home Stretch for work and I am off for a well-deserved week. I can't wait to travel around and watch many a movies with my bun-hun during her birthday week.

8.5.07

dale and i are off to stony brook for the day! in other news: we have the corsica, watched the bourne ultimatum (excellent), and our wedding is being postponed for another year as i have decided to spend another year in school taking graduate classes. =( but it's all good 'cause nothing really changes as we still live together and are still in love. more updates to come.

7.29.07

This weekend was different but refreshing nonetheless. We saw the very entertaining sci-fi flick SUNSHINE. We attended my brother's triathlon, which wasn't all bad, and screened the awesomely bad movie I KNOW WHO KILLED ME. More movies to come.........and I love my bun-bun.

7.27.07

as we approach the last month of the summer, we hope to find some stability after the craziness that was these past two months. our online home was on hiatus while i was busy with my new work schedule and while dale attempted to adjust to it. now that we are nearing the end of the tunnel, we're back!

we're still in the process of obtaining a replacement for the bonneville... poor bonneville. we picked out a '96 chevy corsica because despite its hideous exterior, the underside of the car looked good enough to convince us that it would run for a long time. but we're not fretting about the ugliness of her 'cause we already drive a sweet ride, our altima.

we had a strange experience when a stranger attempted to walk into our house. luckily i heard the person struggling to get my door open (because the bottom tends to get stuck), so i pounced on it and locked it quickly. i looked out the peep-hole and saw an older lady staring at my house, looking quite confused. we expect that she thought this was someone else's house, but from now on, we'll be keeping the door locked at all times.
