Born on 15 December 1980, this Kuala Lumpur guitarist has been exploring the different shades of the acoustic guitar in his many compositions. He is influenced by many genres of music, including classical, folk, flamenco, rock, jazz, new age, pop and the occasional boy band hit song. He took formal classical guitar lessons for almost two years before entering International College of Music as an arranging major. Though learning much about contemporary music, he maintained his love for the classical guitar and continued to hone his skills by performing in many different events from the Friday performances in college to various poetry recitation events in local public universities. Later on, he also played jazz guitar in various performances both in and out of college. He loves composing, especially for solo acoustic guitar where he feels most comfortable. After graduating from college, he hopes to contribute to the local music scene by performing and writing new music that reflects Malaysia as well as the changing world. |

| Mostly known for his work as the leading figure of the "50cents Jazz Club", the genre-defying band that received rave reviews, Hardesh continually explores new musical horizons, fusing every imaginable style of music in every unimaginable way. He started studying the classical guitar while in school for a couple of years, and then decided to leave the music school when he ended up teaching his instructor how to play rock!! This of course was in the 80's, when glam rock and hair bands were in, and Bon Jovi still kicked ass. At some point before the turn of the century, he flew off to San Francisco with a little more than a couple of hundred bucks to study with the great Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. Currently he studies various ethnic instruments like the gamelan and gambus at a local arts academy. |
