Show Me Math (Addition/Subtraction/Multiplication/Division)
By Attainment Company
Attainment’s
Show Me Math CDs include no number greater than twenty and each math problem can
be illustrated with an animated movie. Assessments evaluate student progress
with detailed record keeping. The instructional module helps students visualize
math problems. Users can select answers on the keyboard, or by clicking on a
number or the student can choose the “Show Me!” option. Here, the answer is
illustrated with a short animated movie. For example, 5–3=2: Five sheep, three
walk away, leaving 2 sheep. Choose from four animated characters: Sheep, ants,

Touch Math Series
By Touch Math
Each digit from 1 through 9 has Touchpoints corresponding to the digit’s quantity. Numerals 1 through 5 use single Touchpoints, or dots. Numerals 6 through 9 use double Touchpoints symbolized by a dot inside of a circle. In TouchMath computations, students touch single Touchpoints once and count aloud once. They touch and count double Touchpoints twice. Students always touch with their pencils in the touching/counting pattern specified for a particular numeral as shown here.

Basic Counter Math
By PCI
Basic Counter Math uses a visual, "hands-on" approach to help students understand the processes used to solve addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems. This series of easy-to-use, reproducible templates simplifies the four basic math operations by focusing on the concept of grouping. Students can visualize answers to math problems as they move plastic counters in and out of the boxes on the worksheets. Effective in large-group and small-group settings; one-on-one tutorials; and ESL, resource, inclusion, and general education classrooms.
