Pitanio (What An App Can Do)
Unbridled, lean, cunning, and wild;
Perfect in the eyes of a child.
Muscled and hustled; brown and white;
Boy, could that horse put up a fight.
A lost cause, a branded outlaw;
This wasn't what I really saw.
To look inside, he was true blue,
And this is what an App can do.
"Here comes 'Trouble'," I heard them say.
I heard pounding hooves, then a neigh.
"Stand back, people, he likes to bite."
By the looks of him, I thought he might.
But with his big brown eyes and alluring charm,
Surely this horse would cause no harm.
I loved him then and you would, too.
And this is what an App can do.
When I brought him home, he dodged me.
This wouldn't come so easily.
I couldn't touch him; no one could.
But I knew for a fact, someday I would.
Fear replaced rage, trust replaced fear,
And then I knew, he belonged here.
Nothing could come between us two,
And this is what an App can do.
"He needs to be trained, now he's four.
He's not a young colt anymore."
Though they sneered, I stuck to my guns
And ignored all idiotic puns.
Beauty is nothing without worth
And no one, and no one, could tighten his girth.
I worked secretly, no one knew
And this is what an App can do.
I rode him bareback in the night.
That beautiful stallion was very bright.
I talked to him; he talked to me;
Always has been, always to be.
He's valued now, they won't admit
Now I'm so glad I didn't quit.
What bond we had, no one else knew,
And this is what an App can do.
Silent words are all that we use;
Not to be heard, not to confuse;
When all the fibers work as one,
Then my job will really be done.
He's gorgeous, talented, and free,
He's everything perfect for me.
I love him and he loves me too.
And this is what an App can do.
