Dakota Wolf Puppy

History:

Only a month and a half after birth, Dakota was exploring with his friends and went to sniff a particularly interesting looking hole in the ground. As he looked inside, his hindpaws slipped and he went muzzle first down a long, narrow, and very slippery shaft which ended in a small pond in a cave. For hours he sat howling and mewing as loud as he possibly could, also trying to climb out; all to no avail. As he paced around the floor of the cave licking at moss and drinking some of the water, his nose caught what he knew to be the smell of pine trees. He quickly ran over to one of the walls, pawing at the dirt around the bottom. As some of it gave way, he looked in to see that there was light coming from the other side. He quickly bounded through the tunnel and out into the snow. As he looked and barked for his friends, he realized that he could not smell any hint of the pack or of any other familiar scents. As he began wandering, not taking any particular direction, he realized he had no idea where he was going. Lost and tired, he lay down to sleep on some pine needles.

The next morning he woke up and managed to catch and eat a field mouse, though it almost got away a few times. As he walked through the woods, trying to smell anything he recognized and listening for the noises of the pack, he suddenly heard a twig snap and pricked his ears. It had come from behind him and as he turned to look, a large, monstrous beast lunged at him with speed too great for his young reactions. A strange paw grabbed his scruff and lifted him up by his neck. As he dangled there, Dakota snarled and bit the air as he tried to get loose from the scary thing's grip. The huge creature made some sort of noise that sounded like a bird's call and suddenly grabbed Dakota's muzzle. As he tried to open it and get loose, the creature wound a vine of some kind around his jaw, preventing him from opening it. Dakota struggled and thrashed as much as he could, trying to push the thing away with all four paws.

As the man watched the wolf pup struggle, he pulled out more rope and bound his fore and hindpaws so that he could not even stand up. Then, he took a leather strap from his hunting backpack, and, while sipping on a beer, placed it around the wolf's neck, cutting off the excess at the buckle. He then picked up the puppy and quickly jogged back to his truck, placing it on the passenger seat. After arriving at a house at the edge of the thick forest, he grabbed the wolf and brought him inside. Once there, he placed it in a small dog cage and untied its paws. He locked a chain to the cage and attached it to the makeshift collar on the wolf. Then, as it bounced around, pawing at the cage, he untied the rope around its muzzle and locked the cage; standing back to admire his catch.

Dakota panicked as he tried to move his paws and muzzle and found he couldnt, and he felt it hard to breathe with whatever was around his neck. After being brought into the strange smelling and bright cave, he felt better when released from the ropes, but scared once again as he was left in the confines of the strange, hard vines which would not let him go. He howled constantly, hoping he would get help in some form. Instead, the strange beast came down and kicked at the hard bundle of vines, making it jerk and throwing Dakota to the side, making his left paw hurt. He tried to growl but it came out very weak and higher pitched than he had hoped.

After many many days of this treatment, Dakota felt very sad and lonely. He no longer growled or tried to bite the beast because if he did, he would get hurt and be hungry. Most of the time he lay in the tangle of hard vines and tried to catch the little flying specks of air.

One day, as one of the big creatures took him out and another one looked at him, he saw a tree blowing in the wind from the corner of his eye. He had never seen it before because there had always been a big square rock blocking it. As the big creature tried to push him back into the vines, he suddenly thrashed very fast and got loose of the grip, running full speed toward the beautiful trees he saw. As he ran as fast as his legs would take him, he heard terrible sounds coming from behind him and loud noises like thunder echo as he entered into the forest. Dakota had never felt so happy in his life but he continued to run away from the scary noises and creatures. Finally, after many hours of hiding running, he was able to drink from a small stream and rest.

Slowly he got up and began wandering through the woods hoping to find any packs that would have him, though he was now a very different wolf. Submissive and disoriented, but still friendly and energetic towards other wolves, he continued to search...

- Dakota can be feral or a furre, depending on the situation. He is very submissive from his experience and could only hope to be an Omega in any pack he might join. As a furre he likes exploring and wandering around, though it's usually under the watchful eye of a slaver or master, as Dakota is permanently in servitude.

As a furre, he wears an unmarked collar with blue inlay, a blue armband indicating his status, and blue pants. He often has a harness on his chest and chainless shackles on his wrists and ankles. His footpaws and chest are usually bare and he consequently tends to get tickled when the opportunity presents itself, whether by his master or simply some passing stranger.
