Columbus AIDS Task ForceThe Columbus Aids Task Force is a non-profit service agency for individuals affected with HIV right here in Central Ohio.  Individuals range from very young children, many people our age, and older.  One possible "big money maker" would be placing a teeter totter at Bicentennial Park, as other AIDS WALK Festivities will be taking place there, and people would be very likely to give large donations!  This could make a whole AIDS AWARENESS WEEKEND for us May 2-4th ! ! !                           http://www.catf.net
Shoes for KidsThis was a title given to someone's idea of raising our money teeter tottering, then going out and purchasing shoes for underpriveledged or homeless children in our local area! (Or, this idea can be opened to adults as well!)
Ronald McDonald HouseRonald McDonald House, as most of us should know, is located downtown near Children's Hospital, and it is a shelter where parents of very ill children can stay, at no cost!!!  It is mainly open to people outside of Franklin County, but if there are vacancies they are also welcome as well.  It is convenient for them to stay next to the hospital where their children are.                                                                              http://www.colrmhc.org/history.html
Playground FundWhat's a teeter totter?  Playground equipment!!!  Someone suggested making money teeter tottering ON a playground for a playground fund.  Makes sense, huh?  Money can go to improvement, to getting new playground equipment, or maybe even making a new playground in a run down neighborhood for the children!
Special OlympicsAn international organization dedicated to help mentally disabled people become physically fit, productive and respective members of society through sports training and competition. Over 200 programs in 150 Countries.             http://www.spcialolympics.org
Literacy Council: Incresing the functional literacy of adults here in Central Ohio through teaching the English language skills of  listening, speaking, reading and writing.                                                                                                                       http://www.columbusliteracy.com/aboutus.htm
MakeAWish: This is like what we did last year, the Special Wish Foundation, they grant wishes to children with life threatening illnesses.                                       http://www.wish.org
Mid Ohio Food BankThe Mid Ohio Food bank is a food pantry here in Columbus.  More than 5,700 people volunteer here each year!!!  They accept food donations, so we could raise the money, and purchase the food with the earned money and deliver it there.                                                                                                                                              http://www.midohiofoodbank.org
Stefanie Spielman Breast Cancer Research Foundation:   Works to fight against breast cancer.  Settled at The James Cancer hospital on campus, the fund was established by Stefanie and her husband, donations go directy into research.
