Dakota Fanning is only nine years old, but she's Tinseltown's latest sweetheart! She was in Uptown Girls, Sweet Home Alabama, and Malcolm in the Middle!
TG: Do you still do normal stuff even though you're a star?
D: Oh yes. When I go home today, the first thing I'm going to be doing is playing with my baby dolls, painting my toenails different colours and getting out my colouring books!
TG: Who is your favourite singer?
D: I LOVE Britney Spears!
TG: Have you met Britney?
D: I've met her twice. I got to meet her at the Teen Choice Awards. I was standing waiting for my car after the show and I saw a girl go past and I thought, I know that hair...that's Britney Spears! So I ran up to her while she was getting in the car and I was screaming, "Wait! Wait!" She turned around and it was Britney so I talked to her for a little bit. And I met her once before at a store while I was shopping in LA but I was so shocked I couldn't speak. For three years I've been kicking myself that I didn't talk to her then so I was glad I was finally able to!
TG: So what do you like to do when you're not making a movie or doing schoolwork?
D: I'm learning how to knit, I love it. I'm knitting a scarf right now.
TG: What would you be if you weren't an actress when you're older?
D: I think I'd like to be an interior designer or a ballerina.
TG: What is your favorite thing to do?
D: I do like shopping but my favorite thing to do in the whole world is acting!!
