| 8/10 Alright, I've decided that I need a title for this site. So, I'm going to have a contest where the two of you who might actually be reading this site can e-mail me suggested titles and compete to see whose title is accepted. I'll post the winner's name on the site because I'll be damned if I'll give the winner some kind of meaningful prize. And if I hate all the suggested titles, I guess I'll just pick my own. By the way, if your title gets accepted and your on my blacklist, I guess I'll take you off too. Now, isn't that a good prize? Of course it is. In other news, my birthday was kind of dissappointing again this year. Every one thought that my dad would buy me a car for my birthday and I even got gas cards from my mom and dad but in the end no car came. What the hell am I gonna use those damn gas cards on? Filling up the lawn mower? I'm pretty sure they just gave me the gas cards because they wanted to laugh at my expectant face. They're evil I tell you. Well, don't forget the contest. E-mail me now. Oh, and hopefully you noticed some changes in the looks of the site. You bastard. 9/15 Ok. I know. It's been a long time since I've updated. but the good news is.....nothing really. At least not yet. I was supposed to have another article up here about our trip to the Montgomery County Fair, but I've been feeling pretty lazy lately. But never fear, it will be up soon enough. In fact, check back on Monday. That's my goal. Oh, and this time there're pictures. Oh boy! But anyway, for some reason I haven't gotten any e-mails from anyone about what I should name my site so I've taken the liberty of naming it myself. I'm sure you guys just mistyped my e-mail address when you sent off your lists of possible names. Don't worry, I won't hold it against you. The reason I picked the name, "The Ghost" is because, personally, I like the word "ghost." It's an interesting word, what with the "h" just thrown in there all crazy-like. Someone was probably saying at one time, "How can we spice up the word 'gost'?" "I know! We could throw an 'h' in there all crazy-like!" Plus, it has a good sound to it. Ghost. Say it with me. Ghost. Yep, great sound. And so came about the day when Kyle finally named his site with the most noble name of all - "The Ghost." And everyone lived happily ever after. Dammit. I just realized that "The Ghost is a dumb name. No way I'm going to do this whole narrative over again about how I chose my name. I'm just putting the word "Cellar" in front of it. There we go. Now that, my friends, is a good title. |
