| The UW Cup tournament will begin on Week 21 of the MFLS season and will conclude in a Cup Final on week 29. This tournament consists solely of single elimination matches with replays for matches that result in a draw. Seeding throughout the tournament will be based upon MFLS point standings at the end of Week 20. In case of a tie in the league table, the most recent weekly result (week 20) will be used to determine seeding. Tournament Seeding (Divisions) Note - Scores for each round will be posted 24 hours before the MFLS deadline for the following week. Any MFLS scoring corrections that take place during head to head cup competitions will be used only if they are made 24 hours before the MFLS deadline for the following week's rosters. Changes made after that time can not be used to change the outcome of a match. What constitutes a win? - For purposes of this tournament, a team must outscore its opponent by at least 10 MFLS points in order to move onto the next round. If neither team has a winning margin (10 points), the match will be replayed in the week specified in these rules. If no team has a winning margin (10 points) in the replay, the winner will be the one with the higher aggregate score for the two matches played. In the event that the aggregate score results in an exact tie, the team with the higher total MFLS points on the season will advance. Round One - Week 21 - Amateurs vs Second Division Teams seeded 17 to 19 (Amateurs) will be matched against teams seeded 14 to 16 (Second Division). A random draw will take place on August 14th and the resulting matchups will be posted here.
