HHH Rulz! vs WAVES 58 : 110 --------------- Loyalty Cup Rules Round One will consist of head to head matches. Each team will play all the other teams once in this round. A team will be awarded a win if they outscore their opponent by 5 or more points, a loss if outscored by 5 or more, or a tie if the scores are within 5 points of each other. A win will be worth 3 points in the standings, a loss worth 0 points, and a tie worth 1 point. A Yellow Card received during a week will result in an automatic loss for that week. If a team is Red Carded, all games involving that team will be removed from the standings and schedule whether played yet or not. Note - All scores are official and final at the Yahoo roster deadline for the next week (Friday night). Yahoo scoring corrections made after the deadline can not be used to change the outcome of a match. At the end of the first round, the top 4 teams in standings points will go on to the semi-finals. Ties in the standings will first be decided by Yellow Cards. If any of the tied teams has a Yellow Card, then they lose the tie breaker. If still tied after this, then the team who has fielded the most players (accumulated total) from their favorite MLS team since the beginning of the season will win the tie. Semi-Final & Final - Winners be determined by the team with the higher score and need not win by 5 points. If there is a tie, the winner shall be the one without any Yellow Cards. If neither team, or both teams, has a yellow card, the winner will be the team which fielded the most players from their favorite MLS team in that week's match. If still tied, number of favorite MLS team players fielded during the season will be used. Semi-Final pairings will be based upon Round One standings. The team in first place will play the team in fourth, while the team in second will face the team in third. The Semi-Final winners will play in the Final for the Cup Championship. The Semi-Final losers will play in a consolation match. |
