Chocolate Chip Cookies 2 and 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 sticks of softened butter 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 eggs 2 cups Chocolate Morsels
Preheat oven to 375 Degrees F. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a big mixer bowl, beat the butter, the 2 types of sugars and vanilla extract, until it is thick and cremy. Beat in the eggs. Beat in the floor mixture gradually. Stir in the Chocolate Morsels. Drop by round measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookies sheets. Place sheets on tray. Bake 9 to 12 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Let them stand on the sheets for 2 minutes. Remove from the cookies sheets and cool completely on wire racks. This makes about 60 cookies. |
