The striking allure and captivating beauty of a Blue Great Dane is a sight

once seen, not easily forgotten.

Although a very popular color in many countries in Europe, well proportioned, nicely colored 'Blues' are harder to find here in 'The States'.

We have searched for over a decade to find a blue with the look that typifies Dajo Danes ~ Healthy, strongly defined head, beautiful, rich, deep coat color, and a well proportioned body. And as always, and number one, Great Temperament.

In March 2004 our wishes were fulfilled. Through patience and guidance from Phyllis of Willowrun Great Danes and Victoria Pearson of Victory Danes, we welcomed 'Tessa' into our family. She is the result of a breeding between two European imports, her dam, Neala Willowrun Vom Romersee and her sire, Legend Von Hause Tiefenbach. We are grateful to Phyllis for the raising of such a well adapted pup but most especially to Victoria and the confidence and trust she has placed in us to co-own this outstanding blue girl.

"Tessa is the "Secret Service" of our home.. While always keeping tabs on
each family members whereabouts, Tessa also shares her time playing with
Joey, napping with her Russian Blue rescue cat, Shelby. Another of Tessas self-
appointed jobs is to keep watch and bark relentlessly to rid our property of the
neighborhood squirrel population. Tessa's brother Linus lives in a nearby town
and she takes delight in having big brother visit so she can boss him around.
Tessa and our son Joey successfully completed three levels of obedience class,
worked in agility together and entered numerous AKC dog shows with Joey as her
Junior handler.

We look forward to having a successful future of breeding fabulous blue great danes because of the wonderful foundation we have found in Contessa and our commitment to the breed we have loved for so many wonderful years.
