RECIPE for a SPOOKY Night

~~WITCHES BREW~~
YUMMMM!!!!!!!.

~~Black Widow Fizz~~

Serves 6-8
Tangy apple and ginger ale drink; great thirst-quencher for busy ghouls and witches..

Ingredients:

1.- One and a half pounds cooking apples, peeled and cored.
2. - (2) 16oz bottles of ginger ale
3. -1 fresh lemon
4. - 6 oz ) sugar, granulated
5. - small bag of gummy worms or bugs


  1. Cooking Instructions:

  2. Slice the apples and put in a saucepan with half a pint of water and sugar..
  3. Peel the lemon thinly then add the rind together with the strained lemon juice to the saucepan..
  4. Cover the pan and cook gently over a low heat until the apples soften..
  5. Remove the lemon rind from the saucepan then sieve the apple mixture and allow to cool..
  6. Chill the juice and pour into a shaker..,
  7. Give the apple juice a good shake then pour into chilled glasses and top up with ginger ale and gummy worms..

No need to hunt for goblins this time of year.
These Little Beasties will always find you..
Their high sugar levels will give them glazed eyes and they will be wanting to perform tricks.



Goblins' Toffee Apples


  1. Ingredients:
    • 10 apples, small
    • 8 oz. black Molasses
    • 4 oz. butter
    • 16oz. brown sugar
    • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • Cooking Instructions:
  • Thoroughly wash the apples then dry with paper towel..
  • Insert a wooden stick in each, down through the core, to act as handles..
  • Put the butter, Molasses, sugar and vinegar in a saucepan, mix together and bring to the boil for about 20 minutes..
  • Quickly dip the apples in the hot mixture and then place on waxpaper to set..
