May 2005 - Zambia
Zambia is home to half of the Victoria Falls, named by David Livingstone (Dr. Livingstone, I presume?)  It must have been an amazing experience to stand next to this enormous waterfall.  She does not mention how this compared to her visit to Niagara Falls...

Dear Mom and Dad -
I am in Zambia and Zimbabwe, visiting Victoria Falls.  The Falls span 8km long, with 2/3 of the falls in Zimbabwe.  However, we are living in Zambia because it is safer there.

The locals are warm and friendly, but very poor, as inflation in Zambia is at 80%.  Everything is still expensive at the resort though.  A bottle of water is $4!

Love, Daisy
After visiting Africa, Daisy thought she might enjoy being a UN Peacekeeper.  After all, they do get to wear pretty light blue outfits! >
