welcome to the rainbow brite episode guide! Beginning of Rainbowland (1) A little girl named Wisp comes to a desolate dark land to save it. She is on a mission to find the "sphere of light." She ends up getting into a creepy forest. Running out of it she runs into a little creature known as Twink. They eventually team up to get away from the creepy monsters. While on their journey to find the "sphere of light" in the castle, they end up in the way of a contraption that makes people into ice statues. Twink gets half frozen and Wisp still drags him along. Lighting strikes the ground, making big lava that the duo run away from and burns off Twink's ice. After getting away they find a beautiful horse statue. A vulture attacks them and to Wisp's amazement, his heart is beating. The horse then comes to life and saves Wisp from the vulture. They fall down a cliff and they land on the horse's back. Another shock is that he can talk and that his name is Starlite. Meanwhile, Murky and Lurky are sent by the Evil One to stop Wisp. Starlite tells Wisp about a legend of a Color Belt that is the only way to fight "you know who." The Evil One threw it away in the No-return River a long time ago. Wisp wants the dark world to be bright, beautiful and full of life. Murky spied on them with a mechanic flower that is really a camera. The now trio walk into an area where the river supposedly was but now is dry. Murky and Lurky activate dynamite that makes the Earth quake and throws Twink off Starlite. The trio get out of the river and then on the Bridge which is now shaky. They fall off the bridge and into the river. Wisp, Starlite and Twink are split up. Wisp calls for her friends but is in grave danger. A sea monster accidentally rescues her. She then asks for help, wanting to go home. The tide swings her to a rock where she finds a baby. Her friends reunite and Wisp is determined to help the baby. They enter a cave to get away from the rain. Starlite lights a fire with his hooves. Wisp then spots something in the distance. "It doesn't look like much, does it?" But it show happens it is the Color Belt. If it weren't for the baby, they wouldn't have come in the cave and found the belt. Beginning of Rainbowland (2) The Evil One threatens Murky and Lurky saying he wants the belt. Murky introduces his majesty to his new weapon, the Super Gloom Machine. Wisp begins her quest to find the Sphere of Light with her new color belt and the baby cradled on her back. The Color Belt starts glowing and revealing seven bubbles with talking images. They introduce themselves, the Color Kids keepers of the enchanted Star Sprinkles that the sprites mine in the color cave that helps the wearer of the belt make the world bright and full of color but the King of Shadows banished them to the seven corners of the belt and the belt wearer is the only one who can set them free. Wisp vows to save them. Gloom starts coming in the cave pumped by Murky and drives the trio running deeper in the cave. Starlite jumps off a cliff to another side and find another cave. They find the first color kid, Red Butler. Wisp must find the others but doesn't know where to start. The Color Belt shows a map where Canary Yellow is� in the potato forest. The cave caves in and they run out, a clearing is opened. Red Butler stays in the cave to hold down the fort while Wisp goes to the rescue. They find a two headed dragon keeping Canary Yellow imprisoned. Wisp tricks the dragon in twist its neck around so it spins their head around. It propels them into the air and out of the way. Murky gives Lurky a bomb to give to Wisp as a �present.' Wisp struggles to get Canary Yellow out of the vine-y forest prison. The propelled dragon comes back and when it lands, it blows the forest away. Lurky looses his bomb. Canary is free and they run to Starlite. Lurky finds the bomb and glooms up the Dragon making it gloomy. The baby takes a star sprinkle out of Twink's pocket. The star sprinkle floats up in the air. It leads the gang to spot Patty O' Green up in a nest on a tree. A creepy monster comes back to its nest. Lurky and Murky decide to go get the other Color Kids and ransom them for the Color Belt. Wisp, Canary and Twink try to bend the tree to get the bird away from eating Patty. The tree is let go and hits the bird making it fly away. Patty swings down. They go back down to the Color Cave to leave the collected kids. She tells them to get ready for her �signal' to run to the castle with Star Sprinkles. Murky lead Wisp, Twink and Starlite into a trap with Buddy Blue, Indigo and La La Orange in the Grunge Buggy. Lurky drove crazily and end up in a ditch. Wisp and Twink start throwing Star Sprinkles down into the land to try to make it stop from getting �any uglier.' Murky tries to stop them with his gloom machine but the sprinkles defeats the gloom. This sets a distraction for Lurky so Wisp can rescue the three kids.The baby had disappeared. She ends up in the hands of Lurky. They run off with the baby. Wisp decides to put off her quest to save the Baby so they head off to the castle where there is a lot of signs directing them to it. They decided not to go through the entrance so they go through a back entrance. They enter through a laboratory. Wisp and Twink go up a staircase while Starlite stays down. Wisp and Twink end up on a ledge and find Shy Violet in a room under torture. A machine that had two heads that blew gloomy on Shy that was on a chair in the center. Violet falls off the ledge and Starlite catches her. Wisp and Twink find themselves with Murky and Lurky but the gloom machine was in reserve so it tackles Murky. Murky then captures Twink, leaving Wisp alone. Wisp hears the baby crying from the tower where the Sphere of Light is suppose to be. Wisp activates the belt's Rainbow up to the door but the Evil One blows it away with his wind. As she walks up the stairs against the wind, the Color Kids bring their Star Sprinkles to spread around the castle. Wisp battles the King of Shadows. The baby ends up being the Sphere of Light. Starlite tries to join Wisp by jumping to the tower but he falls down. She saves him with a rainbow, making his able to �fly.' Wisp defeats the Evil One with the rainbow. A cloak is all that is left. The castle crumbles revealing the Color Castle! Rainbowland is born and Wisp is called Rainbow Brite to protect the land. Murky and Lurky run to the Pits. The Sphere of Light tells her she has another land to protect. She says she will.
