The true art of flirting can only be taught by a Southern lady or, as we affectionately call ourselves, G.R.I.T.S.: Girls Raised in the South! We do so love to flirt down here! The key is to lower your eyelashes, listen carefully and attentively to everything he says, and speak real slow. Twirling you hair around your finger while cocking your head to one side is a plus! Try it next time, girls!!

The following are considered bad manners for true Southern ladies:
Drinking straight out of the beer can.
Walking down the street with a lit cigarette.
Velvet after Feburary.
White after Labor Day or before Easter.
Not sending Thank You notes.
