"I'd also like to add that I've always had my values and principles that I stood by. But perhaps it didn't seem obvious, just because I didn't have the 'hejab' on earlier. Now that I have, it doesn't mean that I've gone from one extreme to another. And it certainly does not mean that I am less modern either. Having the hejab on may be interpreted by the ignorant bunch as 'religious' had only given me more confidence in bringing out aloud, my values & principles which I've had all this while - as opposed to before I had it on. At the same time, whoever made you label 'religious' on people who don the hejab? Can't help but to think you're making up excuses for your own self.
