| J. E. (Jesse Edward) Turner, 45, Dies at Salinas |

Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Ree Grim Chapel for Jesse E. Turner, 45 who died Friday in a Salinas Hospital. For years he had been living on a Homestead in the Oasis district south of Kings City. He is survived by a wife, Mrs. Grace Turner, and six small children, who are now living in Greenfield. Mr. Turner was born in Alabama but was reared in Texas. He was in the U.S. Navy when a young man. Chaplain Bronson officiated at the funeral and at the burial in the local cemetery. |
