2-8-01: some much-needed updates to the website, including matching the format of all the pages, and adding a 'main' link for easier navigation.
2-7-01: The latest announcement is in: car-robots will be brought over to the US! The toys will bear classic names (Convoy is Prime, MachAlert is Prowl, etc).
1-24-01: Rally/Checkers has released a tm rhinox kidsmeal toy. DTF members secure them in-bulk...any members still unclear about how to get to Botcon? We can help! We have cars, and flights scheduled.
12-24-00: Happy Holidays! Welcome [email protected] to DTF! His website and bio are already posted in the members bio page.
12-18-00: Primal Prime hit District 6 last week. As of today, the Tank Drones are available in Milwaukee.
12-15-00: The Botcon registration form for 2001 is on-line at the Hartman's site. Some of us have already mailed ours in :-) I've been in contact with the Minnesota Transfans. Our two groups will be sharing information and resources from time to time. Prhaps even a bulk trip to the next Botcon!
11-11-00: For the past week, the dtf mailer has gone down. No word from Phil as to why, or when it will be up again. I've switched us over to the backup system.
10-30-00: Target Exclusive Magmatron has hit stores! All six from FDL are bought and distributed to DTF members.

8-15-00: Fred, after a long absense, finally makes some updates to the dtf site! The q and a, the events schedule...who-hoo! Even a Moos-letter makes it out into mailboxes.
8-14-00: Beast Riders are everywhere! As are a host of other BeastMachines toys. If you're a part of dtf, you've read the mailers right in your box! If not, why don't you join for the latest, fastest toy updates in your area?
7-28-00: Botcon!
6-10-00: The 'botcon van' is purchased and prepped to take dtf members to Fort Wayne, site of the 2000 Botcon!
5-01-00: Members of DTF frantically sort thru their plans for Botcon. Notes are compared. Rooms are reserved for some; do you have yours yet? What about a driver? Car-pooling? Get into the loop!
4-10-00: Members of DTF recieve their shipments of the TF2K line from Japan. Awsome! Real cars and trucks, with 21st-century articulation.
Feburary and March: Fred takes time off to fix his house, and add tremendously to the Variations Page. Meanwhile, 2 waves of Beastmachines hit stores. Takara announces Car Robots 2000. Messages fly thru the mailing system.
1-28-00: Welcome Needles Kup to DTF! His members Bio has already been added to the site....Botcon is all the buzz with DTF! Plans are being mad as we speak.
12-30-99: Beast Machines are out Early! They've hit Wisconsin and Illinois two days ago. Cheetor and Tankorr are nice! Check out Deja News, or Altered States Magazine for the details!
12-20-99: Beast Machines are rumored to be out by January! We watch the stores with great excitement.
11-22-99: Opinions vary on Beast Machines, the latest incarnation of transformers. Fred suggests tuning in to the att newsgroup for the full story!
9-1-99: Phil has the new dtf mailing system going. By sending to just one address, you reach everyone on the list! No more remembering a hundred addys! Instant messagng to all your fellow members! Who-hoo!
8-28-99: The last batch of the Transmetal 2 line has hit the stores, along with the re-release Fox Kids Exclusives! Expect Beast Machines by Christmas.

1-22-99: Prices for TFs are skyrocketing in Lee's AFN...to update, I was told that it was because of some i-net dealer writing them a long letter asking for this....I think we should call in the TF Militia on this guy...come on, over 100 bucks for Jazz? Sigh.

10-24-98: Fred hears that BotCon 1999 will be held in St Paul, MN! No fly-time for this convention, just 10 bucks in the gastank! Fred's significant other has dragged Fred to the Mall of America many times, so thanks to her the city is a snap to navigate!
August 18th, 1998: Two NEW members join DTF! cbraasch@dstewart and [email protected]. I'd say more, but they haven't given me permission yet :-)
August 17th, 1998: DTF will start its first dry-run at keeping everyone informed of current TFnews thru the use of a "newsletter" e-mail. Once the details are worked out, we can have it sent directly to your e-mail!
August (TBA) 1998: DTF will host its first official meeting in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. We will discuss what the goals od DTF are, and how that will help both the Wisconsin Transfans, and Transfans in general. It will prove to be an exciting day. Refreshments will be served. Please contact DTF for details, and how to register for the event!
July 17th, 1998: DTF gets their website 90% functional, as Fred desperately "liberates" HTML code from various sources.
June 19th thru the 21st: BotCon 1998, the OFFICIAL Transformers convention. Nothing like getting together a few thousand of your closest friends to talk about TFs! This year, it's being held in California. For more information, visit the Botcon Site.
