| Oct 2, 2003 : Well, I have finally done it...I have created a website!!!...Yeah!!!...Now everyone can see what is going on over here in my world...unless you are already here, then you just get a review...lol...well right now it is almost 1am and I am starting to become delerious, I have worked on this for 4hrs straight, not counting the few hours I put into this earlier...However, now that I know what I am doing it is going alot smoother now. But I am a long way from finishing. Only the majority of the pics were done today, now I have all the other pages to do, but that shouldn't be too hard. Geocities is easy to work with, don't have to worry about the html part if you don't want to. Well, I should really go to bed now. I am getting my hair coloured first thing in the morning, so I must get my beauty rest...So long, fair well...blah blah blah blah...goodnite... | ||||||||||||
| Oct 3, 2003 : Another day another dollar as they say! I worked a whole 5hr shift today...whopee!!! Darrin on the other hand worked 14hrs and made one of my paychecks...Actually what Darrin made this week alone is what I make a month...And they wonder why I am in debt...working mainly 6 days a week and still not full time hours...where is the irony (or whatever) in this? hmmmm...you have to wonder? oh well I love the cafe work...Just need a better cafe to work at...well just one of the cafes I work at (the other one is getting better) But that is a whole other issue that I don't want to get into right now...It is a little frustrating to think about!!! Anyways, I slept on my neck wrong two nites ago, and now my neck is SOOOO stiff...I could barely stand up today at work :( But Darrin massaged it a bit for me and the drugs are helping...a bit!!! I added a few more pages to the site today and fixed up a few spelling errors found by my "editor" Darrin...lol...Although if he had it his way I am sure he would change most of my sentences!!! But I will use his talents, not to critique my site, but for, whenever, I write my first book...still so many ideas, but no motivation to sit and write....I started doing the legs for my paper mache spider today...for those who didn't already know I am attempting to build a small, but scary haunted house this year in our garage...I just have to either get over my fear of spiders (any suggestions would be appreciated) or try to find someone willing, and unafraid, to help me clean out the garage....Well time to go must sleep...I work early, and getting up at 5am to drive Darrin to work...then I have a rehearsal for the play tommorow...well enough blabbing...gnite all! | ||||||||||||
| Oct 7, 2003: Sorry to anyone actually reading my journal everyday...I have been busy all week and unable to update this page...and our computer was down for a day grrr!!! Stupid Shaw Cable...grrrr!!! well I worked all week so far...today is my friday! Blah....I went to see Once Upon a Time in Mexico on Sat. nite with Sharon and Lia...not bad of a movie...no real romance in it, but many hot hot men!!! nice casting...Johnny Depp ...Too hot to touch...although I would like to try!!! lol...Sunday I worked then headed over to Julie's and Don's for the last of Sunday football...Yah Vikings!!! Monday...ummm..worked...and went to the chiropractor...my neck is messed up right now...ouch! Have to go back tommorow..grr!!...oh well...i don't mind a good adjustment and a massage!!...I stepped on the scale this morning and i am proud to say I am now 131lbs...down almost 20lbs...yah....and trying very hard to keep it off....being stressed doesn't help...and tonite for dinner I ate way too much. I went to stupidstore yesterday to get toliet paper and decided to look for supper while i was there. Well I wandered around the store forever, and as we all know it is a big store... so I went to the cookbooks and picked up a companys coming 'rush hour' and looked through that and i found a recipe for pizza wraps...I couldn't afford the book so i just took it with me...found all the ingredients and then put the book back (i will buy it another day...maybe) I do this alot at the store!! lol...And oh my god they were so tasty...so much so we had them for dinner tonite again...I think i am going to start a reciepe page now! Does anyone watch joe shmoe? That poor guy...But my fave. thing about him is when his eyes bulge out...for example Molly kissing the "host" good bye tonite...oh so funny!! i want to start a message board page for the shows I watch and get everyone, who cares, input. But as of this moment i am unsure of how to do it...I would like to start poles as well...if anyone knows how this is done...PLEASE EMAIL ME!!! Halloween is soon upon us...too soon...I had my haunted house planned 2 months ago and have barely started on it...ahhhhhh!!!!! My performance with Courtenay Little Theatre is this week...yah...my 15 mins of fame, litterly. Unfortunatly it isn't to a huge audience, but I will be bringing a camcorder to tape it yah...so if anyone cares to see it they can...not online though...lol...well that has been my couple of days missed...I am off for the next 2 days so i am going to try and do some work on this site...any suggestions...EMAIL ME!!! | Oct 8,2003: What I have learned today? Never eat a granola bar while watching friends...I almost choked!!!..But don't worry everyone...I am fine...So Rachel and Joey have called it quits...:( Too bad...it would of been fun...however it was also funnier to watch them struggle trying to make out...they should of just tried longer...Although, I don't know if I could of contained myself much longer...darrin was sleeping and I didn't want to wake him with laughing too hard...Pillows work great for this!! Also watched ER tonite and gained more respect for Abby, I can understand why she was being so needy to Carter...Cuz no one would give her the time of day and so she went to Carter cuz she had no one else to turn too...Too bad Carter couldn't understand that...oh well...I had my Tech Run tonite of our play..and all the other plays...7 total...well this should be interesting, since I am "bleeding" out of my stomache the whole play, going to be sticky...thank goodness we are right befor intermission so we can clean it all up...lol...Got a call from my Sis, Cheryl, tonite..sad news, my Mom is in the hospital...sniff sniff...at first they thought it was a heart attack, then acid reflux diease, but tests for both negative but they are going to do some more tests so we will see...I will keep everyone posted, as soon as I know...I am surprised though, usually I find out weeks after someone has been hospitalized...grrr....well time to go now...up early again to drive Darrin to work..then come home and sleep for a few more hours before I go to work..blah.... | ||||||||||||
| Oct 12,2003: Yah!! Thanksgiving weekend...or at least most of you are saying that...This is my first year with no turkey dinner....:( Darrin and I are alone for Sunday nite, but neither of us wants to go through the hassle of making a turkey, with the fixings, just for the 2 of us!!...As for Monday nite (actual thanksgiving) well Darrin works at 4pm so I am home alone for dinner ...sniff sniff..oh well...There is always Christmas...2 1/2 months away...YEAH!!!! Cant wait to go home for christmas...so excited...Well I had my play on Friday and Saturday nite...It went okay...the first nite was better in terms of lines for me...by a long shot...however the first nite we tried using a blood pack filled with ketchup and water tucked into my bra, well the ingredients seperated and only sticky water was visible...my bra was soaked and I forgot to bring spare clothes...grrrr!!! but the second nite we used a blood pack with ketchup and cornsyrup...much more effective, the whole audience saw it...and laughed. It was fun. I actually learned quite a bit and met a lot of people. I wish I was doing more stage plays in the future, but I am unable to do the winter production cuz I am coming home for christmas...(Mom's Turkey dinner more important)....Well I am only 5lbs away from my goal weight of 125lbs...yah....(20lbs gone now) I am sooo tired...I haven't been going to the gym as much recently, too much going on, and my body is feeling it...grrr...but halloween will be here soon, and when that is done and over with then i can focus on exercising....oh yeah!!...lol...Tommorow is the garage clean out day...ewww...Darrin is FINALLY going to help me rid of spiders and help organize the garage so I can start setting it up...I get paid this week (twice) so I am going to walmart, sally ann, stupidstore, and a few other places in search of halloween stuff...I will start posting pics soon...it is going to be fun!!! | ||||||||||||
| Oct 17, 2003: This year is my first year that my Thanksgiving was spent without a turkey...sniff sniff, (not counting the Thanksgivings' I have been sick). BUT my Auntie Sheila (Sharon's twin) is arriving tommorow and thus Sharon will be making a turkey dinner, so I MIGHT get to have some turkey...yeah!!!...I have been feeling a little under the weather today, it might have something to do with the almost four complete days of nonstop rain, and my garage has no heat and 2 of those days I spent in there putting the haunted house together....blah!! But I will fight it off and finish what I have started...YAHHHHH!!! Other than that, this was my week...blah, blah and more blah!!!....As most of you know I have always wanted to write a book...well I have never really been completly motivated to get up off my ass and started typing one out...So to try and solve this problem I am going to start one on my website. I will write bit by bit, kind of like a soap opera. However, now the problem to solve is which story to write....I have about 8 "great" ideas, all sitting in a notebook written in point form...so which one should I do???? ummmm.... | ||||||||||||
| Oct 23, 2004: Ok...Ok...I am sorry I haven't updated in a while....geez...gimme a break(Cheryl!!!)lol...I have been working on my haunted house nonstop...actually today I stopped...to go to Nanaimo with Julie, she has a physio appt there. Then we went to Cosco for over 2hrs...I need to bring money next time...lol...or maybe not...Then came home, accidently fell asleep, but thankfully woke up in time for the start of MUST SEE TV...yah...Friends, survivor, CSI with flipping to Extreme makeover on commericals, and finishing with ER, but also taping Will and Grace, and Just Shoot me...(if all went well...)But I did work on a few thing while watching tv. But the deadline is almost here...ahhhh...one week!!! yikes! and so much to do....well more late nights to come...blah......just have to finish up in the haunted house, decorate my house, work on the outside and do some baking...ah not a problem....ahhhhh stress level rising ....help!!!! lol...well on that note...back to work ..... | ||||||||||||
