THE BASIC ZERG HAND BOOK! from primas starcraft strategy guide >Use a defiler hydralisk combo to help defend against enemy air units. Have the defiler use dark swarm and then have the hydes knock them out of the sky! >Zerglings and hydes are great initialy but Lings are weak to the firebats and zealots so use them to attack mariens and dragoons let othr units take care of the zealots and firebats. >Guardians are a great heavy attack and a group of 12 will knock out almost any structure in 1 volly! But they ahve no air defense so escort them with mutalisks or devourers. >Scourge aren't called carrier killers for nothing! they work best against enemy capital ships like carriers and battle cruisers. >Keep a good perimeter of sunken and spore colonys to act as an early warning and first attack measure.They have the most HP for a defensive structure in the game, USE IT! >when attacking with zerglings dont waste time on units attack their structures drectly! >Make extra hatcheries early off. then if you get in a tight spot a dozen or so zerglings never hurt...you any ways! hehehe >Lurkers are a awson defensive tool! throw a few of these in with your sunken and spore collonys to give it a little spice! Against Terrans >have a queen ensnare and plant a parasite on as many cloaked wraiths asyou can. that will fix their day! >when attacking a terran player build forces of 12 zerglings at a time. Be sure to upgrade their speed and attack as so to give an extra punch! >Hydralisks are the zergs bread and butter unit. good against both air and ground a zerg player with no hydralisks is probably losing! >use a queens spawn broodlings command on enemy tanks and goliaths. if a cloaked unit is escaping ensnare it and give it a parasite. >Use plauge on tightly packed buildings htey will eventyualy fall into the red and explode unless repaired >Try to attack a command center to open it up for infestation but dont do this untill your ready or it could be a waste of troops >use the burrow ability to your advantage. use them as spys and scouts but also as defensive units. >Devouerers are great against terran air units especialy valkries! >lurkers eat mariens for breakfast! but beware of enemy detectors! AGAINST THE PROTOSS >Early on build HORDES of hydralisks they are very goo d against zealots, dragoons, and scouts. >Watch out for observers use the overlords (a detector unit) to patroll key areas. >ALWAYS ATTACK PYLONS FIRST!!! this is very important, with out pylons a building cant work so a gateway and 3 stargates are useless without their pylons! Watch out for those pesky probes coming to open another pylon too. >Use scourge on carriers. they are not called carrier killers for nothing! >if any arbiters come use ensnare on any units that might be hiding under their cloak.
