| No. 2 Team Victory to take on No. 5 Shepard |
| The time for fun and games is over. No. 2 Team Victory (1-0) looks to build on its excellent start with a huge test against No. 5 Shepard (2-0) on Sunday at Long Field. Shepard has started the season with a bang, defeating Willard by 8 runs and mercy-ruling CRC, 11-0. Team Victory will be donning their new white and blue uniforms tomorrow on a day where it is expected to be below 45 degrees at game time. "I just hope the weather doesn't cause us to perform below our potential," captain Joe Chang said. "We know we are better than this team, but they're good enough that they can beat us if we don't play to our potential." Team Victory will be without its starting DH David Paek, who is sidelined with a twisted ankle. Besides Paek, the batting order and lineup is expeted to be as usual. There are subplots to this huge matchup. James Han, who is familiar with most of the team, plays shortstop for Shepard. "This will be a good chance to show James Han how sexy I am," Andy Ong said. |
