| By Curtis E. Bear Daily Staff Writer ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill._ The Northwestern All-Star Tournament Challenge released its results today, and Teams Sam and Cozza appear satisfied. Team Sam upset Team Physics in a decisive game three to take the series 2 games to 1, but were narrowly edged by Team Econometrics. "You know, we practiced so much harder for physics so we got what we deserved," assistant captain Zack Morris said. "Well... I didn't practice of course, that's Screech's job. I just try and look good for the cameras. By the way, how do i look?" Team Cozza issued a statement earlier today declaring its satisfaction with the team's performance, especially in the bloody golf match against Team Comparative Literature that placed captain Mario van Peebles on the disabled list. Van Peebles' career may be in jeopardy. While other local teams have reported mixed results, some local coaches don't want to hear any complaining about anything related to the tournament's results. "I simply hate it when coaches come to me and complain about a tie," Team Lowenthal head coach Jenny Lowenthal said. "Hey, you're alive and you didn't lose. Don't cry to me, I have other things to worry about - like how I can get kill Mia Hamm and have Nomah....Oh, Nomah!" |
