| EVANSTON, Ill. (AP)_ Two teams unaware of a certain dorm phenomenon created quite a ruckus last night. On the eve of Day Three of the Northwestern All-Star Tournament Challenge, Team Chiou and Team Filante caught the attention of several resting teams at around 3 AM CST. KAE, or the Kitchen Amplification Effect, is the phenomenon where any sound made from within the second-tier dormitory kitchen amplifies to 50 times its magnitude. "I thought 'holy cannoli, is this World War 4??'" a member of Team Drews said. When informed that there had not yet been a World War III, the player just shrugged. Both teams Chiou and Filante were unavailable for comment. "We're gonna get them back," Team Sam forward AC Slater said. "No one messes with Alfred Clifford Slater." |
