| Daily 1835 names Ke Xie 'Sexiest Man Alive' |

| EVANSTON, Ill. (AP)__ Ending months of speculation, the Daily 1835 editorial board finally announced its selection for Sexiest Man Alive late Saturday night -- and it was no surprise. Ke Xie, the sexy beast you see on the left, beat out other front runners including Regional/Local Stud Andrew Y. Ong, Adam Sedrowski, Jung J. Kim (Andy Kim's mom) and the Allison Dining Hall Card Swiper. Xie is best known for his short-lived candidacy as the nominee for the Independent Chinese Freedom Fighters last year. Xie, who celebrated his 21st birthday on Jan. 25 had some idea that this was coming. When being wished a happy birthday shortly past midnight on the 25th, he told various people at core reserve that he "felt sexier." The 6'0", 185 pound behemoth celebrated his new title in his room in Sargent Hall. He was most likely playing poker, watching a DVD or chatting with babes. Below are excerpts of an actual acceptance speech he gave over AIM (fixed for typos). "Thank you so much, everyone. Well it's always an honor to be just mentioned in Daily 1835, not to mention winning something of this magnitude. My sexiness came from all the hard work i have put in over the years . Not only do i work out twice a day, I also try to do sexy poses in my room with my shirt off . I think that really helps...i suggest everyone try it ...believe me it works wonders. Yeah, and I don't care who's in the room when I do this. In fact, I usually go to [Runner-up] Andy Ong's room to take my shirt off in front of them and they are always so amazed at my physique. i can just feel the jealousness [Daily 1835 disclaimer: not a real word] spilling out of them.
