Defense propels Team Victory to win No. 2
Donning their new blue-and-white uniforms, No. 2 Team Victory took advantage of a Shepard team forced to play with only eight fielders, earning a 9-2 victory Sunday at Long Field.
Early on, it looked like Team Victory (2-0) was going to be awarded a forfeit victory, but No. 5 Shepard (2-1) managed to get the minimum number of four girls to field a team.
Team Victory had trouble hitting and scoring runs all game, and were fortunate that Shepard did not have a catcher.
Shepard took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but were quickly equalized in the bottom half of the inning.  Andy Ong, Jimmy Cheon and Sam Hong each had 2 RBIs each, with Hong hitting his first home run of the season in the bottom of the fifth.
Even still, Team Victory had all sorts of trouble making sold contact with the ball, only managing to hit it out of the infield three times the entire game.
"We're not going to beat the best teams in the league if we can't score runs on a shorthanded team like that," captain Joe Chang said.
Chang led the way for Team Victory, going 3-for-4 with three runs scored.  Chang leads the team with a .833 batting average.
Meanwhile Team Victory kept its errors to a minimum, suffering only two the entire game.
Vivian Han and Cheon had excellent days in the field, making a couple of key putouts with runners in scoring position.
Team Victory has now outscored its opponents 24-4 on the year.
Junior outfielder Jimmy Cheon knocks in one his two RBIs on the day with a single in the bottom of the fifth.  Cheon leads Team Victory on the year with 5 runs scored.  //VIVIAN HAN// BOX SCORE

PrimeTime will be without Andy Ong, Jimmy Cheon, Stan Wong and Sam Hong, due to a dumb birthday dinner for the dumb shortstop.  Woody Jang, Yusuke Fujuki and Chris Yeh are also expected to miss the game.
David Paek is questionable with a host of random and unfortunately-suffered injuries.
  "Let me play!!!" Paek screamed.
  "No!"  captain Joe Chang responded.
