Xie to quit, endorse Kim
EVANSTON, Ill. (AP)__ Adored by everyone and an inspiration to all walks of life, Ke Xie announced his exit from the Feb. 16 general election on Thursday night.
Xie officially endorsed Boba Party candidate Andy Kim, and his campaign manager followed suit. Rachel Lee also endorsed Kim, stating that he had "left a message on her voice mail".  Lee is expected to pull quite a bit of weight in Ohio and other midwestern states.
But Xie's exit does little else, since he didn't have much of a staff left by the end of the primary.  His promise of "free boba for all women" was ridiculous and pictures like the one of the left didn't help much either.
Xie is still the darling of the media, providing plenty of campaign fodder and good quotes, including his tongue-lashing of Angela ?Chung and her Iowa roots.
"Girls are not allowed" and "but they're girls" and "Women have no place in politics" are all quotes that made Ke a fan favorite.  Xie insists that he now welcomes women with open arms.
In a huge boost to Rebecca Tsang, Newton Li has swicthed to the Ice Mountain Party and endorsed her.
