SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla_ via satellite_ Team Cozza was scheduled to attend a special training camp this weekend in Southwest Florida in preparation for the tough winter season.  Apparently, the team was not able to pay for the camp, so, instead, they have just been sitting on the beach.  Coach Cozza took a short break from picking up shells to comment on his team's status.
"There are lots of shells on this island," Coach Cozza said.  "It's because it is situated on an East-West axis.  As far as the team goes, some of them have pretty nice tans by now."
(continued) Morale has risen, but fitness has definitely declined in the recent week.  It looks like this semi-tropical excursion may turn out to be more of a detriment to the team than the strengthening camp that the team originally planned.  On a positive note, the team has been looking at films nightly.  On a negative note to that positive note, those films have included Wayne's World, Wayne's World Two, and First Knight, none of which feature performances by any upcoming winter opponents.  Nonetheless, Coach Cozza remains optimistic about winter season.
"Theoretically, we have dropped down a division, despite our decent performance in the fall season.  I know the winter is always tough, but this year it may actually be fun."
