| So this is what it has come to. After a lot of feedback from my supporters suggesting that I say something on my page (if only to replace that horrendously clever use of Adobe Photoshop), I have decided to finally oblige. So here it is and here I am�opening myself up to my supporters, potential voters, and the world.
My name is Rebecca. I am now a senior and plan to one day carry out a medical career in some far country. I believe I am a qualified candidate and I am not going to sell myself to you, but just tell you what I am about and let you decide. I am not as good with words as my other opponents, but I know my actions are what show that I�m qualified. For one, I believe in people and never give up on them. Just like how my friends and family believed in me when I was about to break the skip-it record at Wilmette Junior High or working hard to receive the Student of the Month award for typing the fastest or completing a 500 piece puzzle when I was five, I have the same faith in people. If we just believe in people and give them a chance, great things can happen, like Newton being able to play the shaker and sing �Knowing You� simultaneously or Roger following through with his commitment to his �diet� or me showering more regularly. This world could be a better place. Next, my campaign group can bring this world hope. As my opponent Andy Kim says, "All [Rebecca] does is smile." That is what we call hope, Mr. Andy Kim. My campaign team has been through the worst at the hands of our opponents-whether it is people deleting Friend's episodes off my computer or Andy Ong, my running mate, having people question his "local stud" status. We have been through it all, and with it, we still cling onto hope. And that is what this world needs. This world needs hope. It needs people who smile! So with this, just know that I am committed to you. This campaign is not about me, nor is it about popularity. This campaign is about me and Andy Ong serving you. This world needs people who smile.
