Vote for Andrew Kim on February 9

Let me keep this short and simple. Im not trying to persuade people with slick ad campaigns, a full army of staff or even my good looks. I, Andy Kim, am not going to delegate this responsibility to a campaign worker, but have choosen to write to you, my fellow constituents in the Boba party, so that you would know what my campaign has always stood for.

This election is just getting started. I know the pundits and pollsters-and some party leaders-are saying its over. Well, theyre wrong-its just getting started. The Boba Party has campaigns, not coronations. We let the voters decide.

Im not the smartest, best-looking or even the most savvy candidate. Im just a young man trying to make a difference in this cold, dark world. The biggest lie that politicians like us will always tell you is that they will solve all your problems. The truth is, the power to take back this Boba party is in you! Together we can work for a better Boba party and a better 1835 Hinman.

I know the genuine people seeking change are not easily impressed with empty campaign promises, flashy ads or catchy stump slogans. They want to see results. They want a visionary. They want somebody who is committed to making a difference.

And here, in what I like to call Boba with a difference, I have outlined the main reasons why as a presidential candidate I am worth your vote.

1) I represent the ordinary people.

Ever since I grew up on the difficult streets of Niles, IL., I had to perservere, I had  to look adversity in the face and say, Im going to make it! And I stand before  you today as a testimony to a lifetime of hardwork, patience and perserverance.

My opponent may preach his so-called humble roots, but clearly he is part of  the distinct MENSA wing of the Boba party. Putting up difficult mental puzzles  on his AIM profile, my opponent constantly flaunts his genius and oppresses the  intellectual working class. It is no wonder that his fellow HPMEs have flocked to  him like flies on fresh dung. We cannot let these curve-setting, orgo-rocking, 4.0- getting individuals control this great party.

2) I am pro-Woman

Unlike my opponent, who seems to completely ignore the interests and rights of  women, I have fought my entire life for women. Unlike my opponent, who thinks  that women are no better than a pair of beautiful shoes, I believe women are the  backbone of our party and our society.

I am staunchly pro-woman. In fact, since I was 12 or so, I have even commited  myself  to some day even marrying a woman and joining into an equal-partnership.  I do not believe my opponent can say the same.

3) I have a campaign of hope and optimism.

I believe that a true campaign must be based on positive messages, not negative  ones. My opponent has called me everything from a three-cent whore to an  ignorant plebian, yet I have chosen not retaliate in kind. Rather, I believe the  positive message of hope will triumph. My opponent feels the need to spread  horrific lies about me behind my back. My friends, this action is done out of  weakness rather than strength. My campaign is not about trying to start snowball  fights or wrestling matches. Its about taking our country back. Since my days in  rough Niles, I have strived to be a man of integrity, a man that people can count  on.

Some Boba party members want to leave these tough issues alone. I say let's take them head on because that's the only way we can replace what comes out today with what 1835 Hinman really values.

This election is going to be the fight of our lives, and I am ready for this fight. The 1835 Hinman people wont ever have to guess where I stand on an issue or what Ill do for them. The 1835 Hinman people can take these three promises to the bank. When I am president, well change 1835 Hinman by putting the government back on the side of the people, and not the special interests. We will lift up 1835s poor and working middle class. And well have a president who stands up for your values, not runs from them.

Today we live in two 1835 Hinmans. One for the intellectual elite, those who get 4.0s with ease and who rock every midterm, and everybody else. One for womanizers, the chauvenists, those who degrade women, and one for everybody else. One for the cynics, the pessimists, those who would more like to start a fight than the make a friendship, and everybody else.

Friends, I come to you today proposing a SINGLE 1835 Hinman, one that we can be proud of. One that can take its rightful place in the pantheon of dorms and be looked upon with reverence and respect. I believe that together we can make this dream a reality. I believe that with your support, we can take this country back.

Even now, Im working hard for the Boba party. While my opponents are busy indulging in their own self-worship and idolization, I will be travelling to our nations capital, hoping to make 1835 Hinman a better, safer place. I wont be able to actively campaigning in the final weeks of elections, but you know what? Im not in the least bit worried. Why? Because I believe that the truth has been spoken in this campaign. I believe that our message is honest, trustworthy and true.

We are starting a movement, the likes of which our country hasnt seen in decades: young people being mobilized for a common goal, a common mission: to take back this country from the intellectual ellite.

So I urge you to consider the significance of the choice you will make when you step into the polling place next Monday.

This election is about a lot of issues. But in the end, it's about something bigger. It's about what kind of party we are, what kind of party we want to be. The party I believe in is a one where work is rewarded, opportunity is equal, and faith and family fill our souls.

That's the kind of dorm I grew up in. It's the kind of place most of us grew up in, from the backstreets of our biggest cities to the side streets of our suburbs to the Main Streets of our small towns. And everywhere, the promise is the same.

Work hard, do the right thing, and build the life you dream.

I believe in an 1835 Hinman where the family you're born into never controls your destiny.

I believe in that 1835 Hinman because I've lived it. It's the reason I'm standing here today. I owe everything I am to the dorm I grew up in.

Everything I believe about our country - every value I learned in this town, every person I have fought for in my life, every idea I have learned along the way, has brought me here.

I am running for president because I have lived in the bright light of the blessing of 1835 Hinman. I am running for President because the great gift of an equal chance is the greatest gift I know. I am running for President, because the greatness of 1835 Hinman that has come before is nothing compared to the greatness of 1835 Hinman that lies ahead.

It's right in front of us. I've seen it in the promise of every dormroom and classroom I visit. I hear it in the voices of every man and woman I talk to.

Together, we can make their voices heard!!!

Together, we can make opportunity the birthright we all share!!!

Together, we can restore the promise of 1835 Hinman!!!

God bless you. God bless 1835 Hinman Ave, Evanston IL 60201.
