Mummy Maze Walkthrough
This is a small walkthrough on how we (namely my siblings and me,) get throug the Mummy Maze with the maximum number of points possible. Hope you like it!
End of Level bonus
Shields: 10 bonus points each
Swords : 5 bonus points each
Hop - Small jump: tap up (goes up 5 spaces)
Jump- Large jump: hold up (goes up 7 spaces)
On the edge: half on the ground-half in mid-air.
Note: If you are playing this game for the first time, you will not be able to do most of this the first time. As with everything a little bit of practice is in order. I still can't get perfect on this!
Level 1:
54 coins :270 points
15 enemies :150-300 points
perfect: 555 points or more
Walk to the ledge on the right, Hop over the gap to the right ledge. Jump up into the next scene. Aim towards the left ledge. Get the 2 coins on this side of the screen. Fall back into the first screen.
Go right to the next screen. Get all the coins, but leave the shield. Move to the left ledge on the platform above the scorchio's level. Wait for the Scorchio to go the left. After the scorchio passes, drop down and walk to the right; the scorchio will have disappeared off the left of the screen. Duck and wait for the scorchio's shot. After the magic ball goes over you, attack the scorchio. Now move on the right edge, waiting for the flames to go down. Jump up and right to fall down on the shield (don't worry, if you miss, you can always jump back up from the next screen. You will fall into the next screen. Attack the first scorchio on the platform, and get the two coins. Next, fall down on the platform on the left, but duck while you are falling so that any attack from the Scorchio below will miss. Turn and attack that Scorchio. Now, move left and get the 3 coins, (1 on this screen, two on the next.) Come back. Head all the way right, and fall down the hole.
Now there is no way to go but down, and then left to the next screen. Hop up to the left and get the coin. Come back down, and destroy the blade that waits for you. Now continue a little left and Hop up on the platform on the left, where 2 blades drop down on you. Destroy the first one. Move next to where the second one will drop out, and wait for it so you can destroy it; (Warning! If you do not do this, When you come back from the other screen, you may get killed instantly because you cannot see the blade drop down!)
Go to the left into the next screen and collect your 3 coins. Come back right. Wait for the above to head left before you hop onto the ledge and attack him. Head left again. Get the coin, and then hop onto the ledge and attack the Scorchio while it is facing right.
Hop to the left. hop onto the small platform (you will go into the next scene and then back again. Now move to the left ledge, and jump up-left to get the two coins. Come back down. Now, jump up into the other screen again and onto the right platform. (heh heh.. it looks like you're walking on air!) hop up the ledge. Now jump left to the ledge, but be careful about the spikes! Destroy the spikes and the Scorchio. Get the coin the scorchio was guarding. Come back right, and go right into the next scene.
Dropping down, destroy the scorchio and the blade which will drop down. (you may have to wait for it.) Get the coins on the right. Now jump onto the staircase on the left. Avoiding the scorchio's attacks, jump and hop up, level to the scorchio on the right and attack. Fall back down, and jump onto the platform the scorchio was. Get the coin. Hop to the left and get the other 2 coins. Fall left and get the last coin before moving back to the left screen.
Wait until the Scorchio is moving left before jumping up and attacking. Get the coins then jump into the next scene. Fall to the right. Move where the spikes are then wait for them and destroy them. hop up once when the scorchio is looking left, to activate the fire. Wait until the fire goes down, and then until the scorchio starts to go left again before hopping up and attacking the scorchio. Head right to the next screen.
You are in the first scene again! Time it and jump to the ledge with the scorchio on it. Attack both scorchios. Next jump up left, and head back into the last scene. Get the 3 coins. Go back right. Hop onto the 2 block platform. Now Jumping into the next scene, land on the 1 block platform as you come down. Jump up again into the top scene, go left and get the coins. Fall back down. If you wish, destroy the spikes that pop out. Jump onto the ledge where the 2nd scorchio was, and fall down, against the left wall.
You get 5 coins!
Get the 3 coins where you land, don't go after the one on the far right yet. Hop up to the right, heading into the next scene. Attack the Scorchio. Head right, and time it so you will fall down just after the scorchio heads back left. Attack the scorchio. Jump over the ledge, hop onto the left ledge and get the coin. Go back right, drop down, and head to the left before you get burned!
Now just keep heading left, into the next scene, and into the next scene, and then right beside where the blade drops down. Wait for the blade in this last scene to drop down, and destroy it. Hop up to the right, and hop up again and attack the scorchio. Get the 6 coins, to the exit, and you're home free!!
