Production Photos
1.  A 15" piece of 1 1/4" PVC tubing was used for the barrel and main body of the prop.  I made a pattern and taped it over the pipe, then used my rotary tool's cone shaped grinding stone to make coned bore holes for the barrel.
2.  The Nintendo Zapper that will be canabalized for the prop.  Parts used were the main grip, which was cut with the rotary tool, and a part of the grey section, which will be used for the folding stock.
3.  The bored out PVC tubing attached to the newly cut Nintendo grip.  I used epoxy and wood screws to make the attachment.

4.  The canabalized section of the Nintendo Zapper and two metal bars given to me by a friend that will make up the folding stock.
5.  The folding stock assembled and attached, as well as two PVC endcaps (front one 1" cut off), two mini D-ring style hardware pieces used for the shoulder strap, and a purely cosmetic piece I found in my toolbox.
6.  PVC pieces used to make the Laser Targeting Sight.  The original scope was complied of PVC pieces, but I didn't like the way it came out so I opted for the scope seen below.  Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of the disassembled scope pieces.
7.  Almost finished!!  Here several pieces have been added.  The Laser Sight, mounted with epoxy and a long Allen-screw; the new scope pieces and scope rail; the trigger guard, which was just a piece of metal I found then shaped and riveted to the Zapper.
8.  The pieces used for the ammo loader and clip.  For the loader I used an old electronics cable connector shell.  Don't go looking for these, you won't find them.  The ammo clip was made out of a simple Tic-Tac box with the cap epoxied on, these you can find just about anywhere.
9.  Added here is the assembled ammo loader and clip, as well as some flat washers epoxied into the main body.  This is the completd but unpainted prop.
10.  This is silver painted version of the blaster.  Car wax will be added in strategic areas so that when the final black paint job is applied the gun will have that 'worn from battle' look.
