Although there are no new notices today, I thought it appropriate to post a message of condolence to those who's lives were cruelly cut short on the 11th September 2001 by terrorists who have no regard for human life. Since this site contains photos of aircraft similar to those used by these cowardly attackers, I decided it would be insensitive to our American allies, to whom we owe so much, not to say something.

To the American people:
I extend my condolences, and those of the people of North West, and indeed all of, England to the people of the United States in this hour of grief. The people of the UK, a nation that has suffered the effects of terrorism for 30 years, understand the pain you are feeling, and stand by you as you attempt to come to terms with the most evil act of terror every inflicted on any nation.
Our nation will assist you in your efforts to find, and punish those responsible for this act, which was committed by extremists who have no regard for life, democracy or freedom.

My personal view:
Current evidence shows that these people were Islamic extremists, but no religion could ever condone such an action. True Islam preaches peace and tolerance, a message that must be lost on those that carried out Tuesdays atrocity. The people of the Western world must not turn their anger on the millions of people who follow Islam, as most of these people are as horrified as the rest of mankind, but must hunt down and bring to justice those who would seek to change opinions through violence.

As a mark of respect to all of those who died four days ago, I ask that all visitors to this site leave a message of condolence to the families of the victims in the guestbook.

thank you
