| RAF BAe Nimrod MR2 This maritime patrol jet, based on the Comet airliner, is currently undergoing an upgrade to MRA4 standards. While dramatic, this photo shows a fundamental problem with photography at Mildenhall, the fact that the camera is always facing into the sun during the flying. |

| RNAF Fokker F-50 Used for Maritime patrol and other tasks, this aircraft is a military version of the Fokker F-50 airliner, which is based on the classic F-27 Friendship. Only a snippet of the barrier resides within this photo, but even this could have been eliminated had I leaned over the rope a bit more. |

| RAF Avro Lancaster Operated by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, this Avro Lancaster, PA474, was built in 1945. She now flies to airshows across the country in her new colour scheme as 'Mickey the Moocher'. This photo was taken with a 28-80mm lens as the Lancaster taxied back in following its display. |

| Boeing B-17G 'Sally B' This aircraft is based at Duxford in Cambridge and held the starring role as the Memphis Bell in the film of the same name. Following a recent spell of being grounded in the channel Islands, she is now happily back in the air. This photo was taken as the aircraft taxied out for its display. |
