Both the interior and exterior door handles on my sedan are starting to take more force to open, with a comporably more pronounced drop in force in the action as the door latch releases, compared to the other doors. Barrett Houston, Texas Reply; Barrett; There is a strike plate for the latch of the door on the frame of the door on the chassis. This strike plate has 2 screws. The strike plate can be adjusted a little up and down. I have never done this but have heard someone else talk about how moving this helped them. Perhaps the combination of lube along with appropriate movement of the strike plate might help things? Of course, YMMV and I have no personal experience with this particular modification ;-)) Marc 1995 M3 LTW Hey, my doors are lighter and easier to open (and dent...aluminmum you know). Which is BMW speak for "They all do that, sir." As I recall they pull the inner door panel and lube everything in sight. Mine are getting a bit stiff again. Neil 96 M3
