FWIW, nitrile gloves are more durable than latex, and the only thing that seems to affect them is gasket remover, which is pretty nasty stuff. Latex gloves tear much more easily than nitrile, and are attacked by just about every chemical one is likely to use while spinning wrenches. For most tasks, I don't have to wear anything over the nitrile gloves, so I have better feel for what I'm doing, and better control over little/intricate parts and fasteners. Naturally, heavier duty gloves have their place as well, and I do like Bob, and just put them on over the nitrile gloves.
