there's one other common problem M3s experience that i never did.  i forget 
what it is right now, but i'll remmeber soon.  but i pretty much experienced 
all the other ones like:

vanos noise
brake light circuit
head warping
profile gasket going bad
plastic water pump failure
rear subframe bushings shot
warping rotors
rear shock mount failure
LED digits on the OBC going out
oxygen sensor failure
plastic underpan falling off
lifter noise
"made of butter" wheels bending (i bent 7)

but dangit!  i never had any problems with fuel starvation.  ;-)
