freebies if you buy the whole front-end kit.

Cutting it to shape yourself would be a daunting task.

Where does one get this tape?  Are you talking about those die-cut set$
from the
catalog$?  Or can we just buy the stuff in raw stock somewhere?

I would actually refer to it as film as opposed to tape.

You can buy the pre-cut material from the following places (among many

I have purchased from Xpel before and was satisfied with their kits which
also includes the tools and an installation video.  They also sell the
material in bulk by the foot.

I've found 3 possible places (online/mail-order) to purchase the pre-cut
kits: www.xpel.com, www.bavauto.com, and mail-order from a BMW dealer...

xpel: 109.95 (grill) + 109.95 (bumper+mirrors) + 99.95 (hood+mirrors) =
319.85
bavauto: 62.95 + 89.95 + 89.95 = 242.85
dealer: 69.95 + 99.95 + 99.95 = 269.85 (-20% mail-order discount) = 215.88

So the dealer route (w/ discount) seems to be the best buy here... doesn't
that sound wierd?!  The places I've heard mentioned on this list providing
some sort of discount are BMW Cincinatti (800.543.1649), South BMW FL
(www.southbmw.com), and Hendrick BMW Charlotte (www.hendrickbmw.com)... any
others?

I'm pretty sure you can get uncut sheets, but I don't know from where.
