As every true Pantera fan knows, Pantera was around long before Cowboys from Hell was released. They had recorded 4 albums prior to Cowboys. At that time they were known as a glam band. Rex used to be known as "Rex Rocker". However with this album Phil Anselmo joined the band and you can tell that this album was just a transition into Cowboys. There are even some heavy riffs on this album and Phils voice does sound like his voice from Cowboys. Diamond Daryl still proves he can play.
