| Nexus came to the planet of Darlow eons ago, and is now a being of higher power representing the planet itself. Its sphere corresponds directly to the sphere of the planet. Thus, when Nexus thrives, Darlow thrives. Nexus sustained the planet peacefully for millions of years until Voleron arrived, also from a distant world, filled with evil and darkness, looking to spread its might. Nexus and Voleron then fought a great battle; Voleron was defeated and imprisoned within a shard of Nexus itself, becoming a black crystal, never to be released again. Voleron was eventually released and wounded Nexus, giving rise to The Hunting Grounds. When Nexus was healed by the faithful of the four kingdoms of Dainan, Lirea, Anara, and Hassen, Voleron escaped and clashed into Nexus, physically destroying the both of them. The spirits survived and their shards were spread everywhere. The world that Darlow evolved to become was destroyed that day. Now dead, the planet of Darlow is in the midst of another conflict. Nexus' forces were formed from the unclaimed shards of Nexus itself, and, combined with the faith of the Followers of The Holy Light, continue to battle Voleron and all evil followers to the present day in hopes of restoring Darlow to its beauty. |

| "It is your duty, your moral virtue, to come to these beings, as representatives of my own body. You have heard from the reaches an outcry for help which must not be ignored. I implore you, my children, go forth and spread the good and bring their chaos to an end. Restore their world. It is the moral thing to do; it is the right thing to do." | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| "Thy children shall praise the light as the dark is crushed beneath their truth." - Brother Wytnunmo, 562 N.R., speaking to a Nexus representative. Angels are the purest form of Nexus that exists, representing pure light and good and truth. Appearing as bright humans with fine light clothing, coasting on two feathery wings of fantastic beauty, angels are hailed from every corner of northern Skure as the heroes that have finally arrived. They are the most adept at battling The Minions and stop at nothing to protect those around them, even those who have crossed over to the dark, for an angel is bountiful in forgiveness and virtue. Statistically, angels are their own class. They have no real vice except for their weakness to the dark; this is made up nicely by their slight resistance to all forms of magic (a very beneficial specialty). Able to use swords, blunts, and staffs (but no armour), angels have poured forth in the hundreds, using their strength, speed, and powerful cleric magic to vanquish the evil that has corrupted Darlow. Their wings allow them to fly to any height, and their anger towards the evil undead nightmares of the dark side aid them in their struggle to restore the world. Few keep in mind that angels are fragments of the essence of Nexus. Their individuality is inspired by their goodness. All of the living sane look up to angels; the remaining despise them, but often to no avail. Angels start off mediocre but become fantastic warriors in their later years. |

| Naturally, angels have their mounts. The unicorn is a magnificent representation of Nexus, a purely white horse with a long tail and a foot-long horn on its head. The unicorn is the strongest and most enduring of The Representatives, with high statistics across the board. Their horn and their gallop combine to give them the (fairly rare) ability of heavy charging. The horn itself can cause blindness in its enemy upon striking. Thereafter, the unicorn is relentless in acheiving its victory. Like angel's, unicorns resist light completely but are somewhat weak towards dark damage. The unicorn's relation to Nexus itself gives it resistance to all of the elements. Unicorns progress slowly because of their size and become much more powerful in time compared to their beginning. It should be noted that unicorns gain the ability to fly when they promote to pegasus. Also, like angels, all greet them happily upon arriving. |

| Will O' Wisp | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Will O' Wisp is a purely spiritual form of Nexus and a most intruiging class, both statistically and socially. From the top, this class has the most inverted features of any support warrior. Will O' Wisps have no real physical form, accounting for their extraordinarily low HP and zero defense. Their attack is blinking sting which can inflict blindness on those unfortunate enough to stare at them when being hit. The Will O' Wisp is also undead tolerant, like angels. Where this class excels is in speed of all sorts, magic, and a load of resistances. Will O' Wisps are just a step behind fairies in speed; they progress almost just as quickly. Wisps have powerful magic, for they use both mage and cleric fields. Their resistances are unmatched. A non-physical form discounts a huge percentage of physical damage (in this case 80%) and immunity to ailments. Their attachment to Nexus as representatives gives them strong resistance to all spells and immunity to light. Their weakness to dark may be their only severe weakness; a low HP count and a powerful shot is not easy to take. Socially, wisps do not receive quite as much attention as angels or unicorns do because of their immense speed and inability to really communicate through anything but blinking. Nevertheless, they are a pleasant (and pretty) sight. Will O' Wisps begin strong if one judges them by their positive aspects and weak if judged by the opposite. They do progress to become slightly more powerful. |

| Monk | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "We sought. We found. We embraced. We are - the light." - Brother Richard, 560 N.R. The monks of the civilized world had originally formed themselves as The Followers of Nexus. This name has carried on to the post-destruction era of Darlow. Years of solitary, disciplined, and dedicated life of these wise individuals have mixed with the shards of Nexus to yield a fighting force that belongs in no category but this one. Monks are humans who share a state of mind with Nexus that none of the other civilized (and uncivilized) followers do, despite their good intentions. Monks have allowed Nexus to embrace them in a sort of lightning rod effect, giving them heightened powers and awe-inspiring potential. The monk is a strong front line warrior with good offense and powerful energy and cleric magic. Monks kept themselves from ever using weapons during their transgression to the temples, only allowing for skill in (literally) hand-to-hand combat, even for mages. Now, their skill is thrust out in a force that has a similar chance of stunning their opponents as a hit from a Taro - very powerful. Their natural leadership comes from their virtue and magnanimity. They command very high respect, although their humility prevents them from openly appreciating it. Monks start off stronger than most warriors, then come down a little as other classes progress past them. It is in their later years, well after their promotions, that they become truly formidable, perhaps even as powerful as the mighty arch-angels of Nexus itself. |
