Conduct in Battle

Through playing the game on byond in the production phase of this game, I have decided to put together a list of how to conduct yourself in battle and what to remember. I will not remember every single detail of your character, especially things like strengths and weaknesses. Conduct includes announcing your character stats when something happens to them. Have a look at how this works and use it. It speeds the game up and makes the work on the BMs lighter.    - Dagolar
Things to remember or have written down during battle:
- All of your statistics (HP, essence, attack, defense, speed, movement)
- All of your resistances and weaknesses
- All of your abilities, when they are useful, and what they do
Battle Conduct on a Turn
A Character's turn goes in this order:
Step 1) Move, if you want your character to move, according to their movement.

Step 2) Turn, if your character is going to turn, according to their turn limit.

Step 3a) End Turn Active Action:

***Procedure***
Attack -
1) Announce who you are attacking. Then announce ANY RELEVANT abilities upon attacking (including life drain, magic drain, any ailment like poison, any curse, etc). This is for your own benefit.

2) Target announces any modifications they have such as defending, as well as any abilities useful here (including Super Defense, Rage, and any others)

3) Attack is calculated. Hit roll is made with modifiers. If hit, damage is calculated and displayed. Target subtracts damage and announces
"HP: (HP) / (MAX)"END OF TURN
or
Charge
Cast -
1) Announce the spell you are casting and the target. Announce essence as "Ess: (Ess) / (Max)"
2) Target announces any modifications they have which may be relevant.
3) Spell result is calculated. If damaged, target(s) announce(s)
"HP: (HP) / (MAX)". If another effect occurs, that is recorded. END OF TURN
Breathe - 1) Announce the ability being used and the target. Display any relevant statistical information.
2) Target announces any modifications they have which may be relevant.
3) Result is calculated. Any statistical information is announced on both sides.
END OF TURN

Use Special
Use Item -
1) Announce the item being used and the target. Display any relevant statistical information

In the case of passive end turn actions, simply announce the end of your turn like this: "(End Turn Action) / Done"
