Opposing Solo (Jet #6)

In his first season with the Thunderbirds, Mastin enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1982 missile electronic equipment specialist. In 1988, he recieved his commission through the ROTC program at Washington State University. Mastin flew 46 combat missions during operations Provide Comfort and Southern Watch, enforcing the no-fly zone over Iraq.

Residing in Dansville N.Y. with his wife Joni Thompson, the two have one daughter, Ashley.

Stick Time: Over 3,000 hrs.
