Maintenance Officer

Capt. Hawkins, 31 is responsible for keeping the Thunderbirds' 12 aircraft mission ready. In addition, he oversees almost 100 aircraft maintenance personnel. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1991 from the U.S Air Force Academy.

In Operation Souther Watch, Capt. Hawkins served as a leader for a deployment of 75 maintenance crewmen to southwest Asia. In 1997, he served as a maintenance staff officer at the Pentagon.

Hailing from Bastrop, L.A., he is married to Natalie Coleman and the couple has one son, Trey.
