Welcome To The Wolf Pack !!!!!
Another way we preserve our Western Heritage around here is through the protection of the Wolf-Dog. They are probably the most misunderstood animal in the Animal Kingdom due to ignorance and myth. The wolf is strong, mysterious, playful and loving and if you are lucky enough to see them in the wild or captivity you will not find another animal that holds so dear to their hearts family life. Humans could take a lesson from these animals, as alpha males and females mate for life. There is a woman whom I hold dearly to my heart and love more than life itself, her name is Sherry (alias Belle Holladay), she has worked her entire life towards the protection and education of these beautiful creatures. Please visit Sherry and her wolves on the link I have provided for you below. You will not be disappointed, she is the greatest woman I know through the warmth in her heart and her commitment to these gentle animals. Please feel free to look at some of the pictures I have provided for you, and go to Sherry's website to find out more about these devoted animals and the woman that has devoted her life to their protection and preservation. Thank you, hope you enjoy!
This is a picture of me getting mugged by some of the wolf pups. Chindi, Star, Dove & Legend are the ones you see, me, I'm somewhere in the middle! Ha,Ha. These animals are handled and talked to on a daily basis, this is very important in the socialization of these animals.
This is Grizzly, he was a rescue who's owner could not handle anymore. He is part Wolf and Mastiff! Needless to say, he has been nothing but a big teddy bear in Sherry's care. He even rubs up against you like a cat, go figure!!
Alright, lets hear it! Awwwwwwh ! How can you refuse that face. That is it, never seen a wolf pup, now you have! Pups are feed by us with special formulas from about the day they are six days old and pulled from Momma. You think babies are tuff, try handling about six of these about every two hours on the nose. They cannot miss a feeding, yes they do have to be burped also. See what I mean about Sherry's dedication.
Nope, not a wolf below, this is my bud Odin, he is an Old English Mastiff, Sherry rescued him outta Clarksville Tn. He was only 109 Lbs. when we got him, now a year later he is pushing 170 and is as healthy as a horse, looks like one too.
