But make sure you do it right – By beginning right here!

"Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is not a thing to be waited for,
it is a thing to be achieved".
     William Jennings Bryan

Almost everyone dreams of starting their own business. And it's easy to understand why. You'll probably earn a ton more money, especially as your business continues to grow. You'll definitely have more autonomy and more responsibility – the chance to make a real difference. When it comes to building wealth, owning a business can be like having your own cash-generating machine!

Most of all, it's great to be the boss – and not to have one! That's why over half a million businesses are started each year in the U.S. alone – people who can't stand their current boss. People who feel trapped in their current jobs. People who are overworked and underappreciated. If you're like most of the "working wounded” I know, I think you know what I mean.

But starting a business is not the same as succeeding in business. And that's an absolutely critical point. Because the fact is that while half a million or so businesses are started each year, an even greater number fail. About one third of all startups don't make it past two years – and only one in five are alive after four.

So that's the Real Big Question you should be asking yourself. Not whether you ought to start a business – you should! And not even what your new venture should be – you can figure that out as you go along.

The Real Question is: how can you make sure that you're among the one in five left standing? How can you "bulletproof” your startup and not just survive, but skyrocket and thrive?

The answer is simple. Not easy, but simple. You equip yourself with the knowledge and skills to succeed. You learn how to think like an entrepreneur – no, make that "like a successful entrepreneur” – and how to plan, plan, and keep planning. You learn from other people's mistakes. You learn from your competition.

In other words, you do your homework. In business startups, as in life, preparation and persistence will put you ahead – but you really need to do both.

And now there's a smart, slam-dunk sure way of acquiring and sharpening your business-building skills...in just 10 weeks...and for many thousands of dollars less than the cost of an MBA.
