Here are some photos from the Leic-Arrain 2005 weekend

There were 10,000 points of attackers with 6,000 points of defenders

We didn't have room in the house or garage for this so had to set up to marquees in the garden and even then it was a tight squeeze.

The gatehouse was one of the main features of the defense wall, which ran for just over 23 feet in total length.

Chaos bikes can be seen speeding towards, with Jade Son Terminators standing guard.

Dark Eldar forces lined up from one corner to the bridge. Matt was fielding a very heavy raider force, that took very little time in closing on the wall.

Chaos forces on the bridge with dark eldar to the side. John Cook's (pictured on the left) Imperial guard were ordered to hold the corner of the wall, facing Matt Luke's (on the right) Dark Eldar Raiders.

You can get an idea of the size of the table, the bridge is 2 feet wide running across the 4ft table, with this section of the wall running for nearly 16ft.

The red circles signify craters.

Sections of the defense wall had already been destroyed leaving piles of rubble, and breaches, making defense a lot harder.

To the left you can see a damaged section of wall. These had been built to be removable, should they receive more damage through the battle. There were several of these "potential" destroyed sections dotted along the wall.

The Jade sons make ready to receive the attack.

This year saw Eldar and Imperial Guard forces stand side by side, against attacks form Dark Eldar, Orks and Speed Freaks.

In the bottom right you can just make out one of the Speed Freak fighter bombers starting it's attack run, down the length of the wall.

Paul Morgan no doubt in deep thought as to how his Eldar can stop the advance of the Ork tide.

In defense he had just lost a unit of Dark Reapers, a bunker, Wave serpent and half of the passengers to a friendly fire incident from a battery of earth shakers... Paul was not having a good morning.

The morning saw Chaos forces wade the shallows and climb the cliffs in an attempt to silence the artillery that were firing in support of defenders on the wall.

Rogue guard had their own flying support.
