PLAYING WITH LIGHT |

One of the things that gives DMs fits of wonder and causes magnificent puzzlement among the assembled onlookers is when Donna and I play with the lasers, or even with a toy lightsaber.� People who have never used light in play cannot realize what appeal this has or how Donna or our sub Zia can actually respond to the mere touch of a beam of light on the flesh. |

Light play is another crossover from my research in human energy fields.� An old training technique popularized by Christopher Hills in the 70s was to have a person shine a flashlight on your back while you had your eyes closed and you were supposed to tell when the beam was on and even if a colored gel was being used with it.� And the funny thing is it works.� It is possible to feel the impact of the light beam, if only as a very slight heat and sometimes even pressure. |

Given that, it was a small leap to include beams of light in play, aiming them at the bottom and moving them around the body, causing just the mildest of sensations, much lighter than any feather.� The point of a laser has enough energy to not only impact the electromagnetic field of the bottom (see The End of Consent and The Hand Resonator) but also to heat the flesh and the nerve endings directly, especially after they have been properly sensitized.� By moving the points of light around the bottom, the stimulus is spread out with the expected response.� |

The toy light saber has the added advantage of being plastic so in addition to the light beam, it creates a very small static electricity charge, just enough to raise hairs on the back of the arm, around the area of the body it is being used on. |
