ACTIVELY IGNORING

 

This sounds like a bit of an oxymoron, like military intelligence, or Old Guard Traditions, but it really is a way of dealing with some problems you may encounter in the public scene.

 

We know there are a lot of would-be rule makers out there.  It is endemic and systemic in a lifestyle which is based on transference and acceptance of authority.   The important thing, and the thrust of this website, is to reject both their rules and their authority and, if you are lucky, have some nasty fun in the process.

 

Some few years ago, someone posted on a mailing list a rumor that there was some sort of Council of Dominants who controlled the scene.  Well, that was self-evident nonsense because anyone who thinks the scene can be controlled learns otherwise real quick.  But I responded that I regretted that it did not exist because it would be so much damned fun to drive it nuts.  And how would I accomplish that, but simply being a good Transgressionist and not paying any attention to them and their edicts except to do the opposite when it was fun and convenient knowing that by doing so they would be frustrated to death.

 

That is where the fun comes in.  You break their rules because they cannot make you obey them.  And in a very real sense their rules don’t matter to you.  But there is a tremendous pleasure that comes from knowing that by doing so you are making their lives miserable.

 

So have liquor and drugs at your parties.

 

Never use safewords.

 

Play dangerously.

 

Use all kinds of mind control tech to get around that annoying and nasty consent business and never fail to ram your fun down the throats of the nillers when you can get away with it.

 

Do some or all of the things people say you are not supposed to.  They can’t stop you.  And make sure everyone knows you are doing it!

 

And you will not only have a great damned good time but you will have the knowledge that the rule-makers and law-abiding scene folk will be huddling in their little groups not having fun wondering when you are going to do something that will get THEM into trouble and there is not a blessed thing they can do about it except wait for axe to fall.

 

And they will wait, and they will wait and nothing will happen, because you will get away with it, like you always have, but they won’t think that way and thus while you are playing with your partners, you will also be non-consensually torturing the others.

 

Now, doesn’t that sound like fun?
